Hi, I'm Angelica, your Greens candidate for Higgins.

I’m an environmental engineer, I’ve dedicated my working life to sustainability and transitioning our energy systems to renewables to combat the climate crisis. I’m thrilled to be your candidate this election!

Change is possible, and who Higgins chooses to represent them could impact the entire election and our nation’s future.

I’m looking forward to giving my community a real choice at the next election: a safe climate future, or more coal and gas? Affordable housing, or unlimited rent increases and skyrocketing house prices thanks to massive tax handouts for wealthy property investors?

It’s clear Labor doesn’t have the will to tackle the massive problems we face in climate and cost of living, and the only way to get meaningful and positive change is to put more Greens in the parliament.

This election is our greatest chance yet. Things have changed. Everywhere we go, people are telling us that they are disappointed in Albanese and the Labor government and can’t imagine Peter Dutton as our PM.

By turning Higgins Green, we can keep the Liberals out and push Labor to go further and faster. We’ll be fighting for a rent freeze and caps, and relief for stressed mortgage holders, no more coal and gas and to take on the big corporations and tax them so we can fund dental and mental health under medicare and free childcare.

Together, we can turn Higgins Green.
