Yes, Vicforests has been stopped, largely through the courts, but a lot more work needs to be done to protect our precious forests. Steve Meacher has led the legal action, and as before will inspire and inform you while leading a forest tour that’s a fundraiser for Healesville & Upper Yarra Greens. We’ll drive to key locations, where you’ll see the forest at its best and after VicForests has done its worst.

We’ll drive to key locations, where you’ll see the forest at its best  and after VicForests has done its worst. You can enjoy delicious home-baked morning tea, have lunch in a forest clearing, and get to understand why we need a lot more work, and what future steps need to be. Date: 25 November, 2023. Time: Morning tea available from 9:30, before 10 am start of talk. Tour ends approximately 4:30 pm. Starting location:Toolangi and Castella Community Hall, next to C. J. Dennis Memorial Hall. Cost including morning tea and lunch: Keen Greens $50 Adult $35 Concession $25 Family $65 Proceeds to support the Healesville and Upper Yarra Greens campaign fund. Register at .
