Gellibrand Campaign Launch

Join us for the Gellibrand Campaign Kick-off with your candidate "Ponraj krishna Pandi". Show your support and be part of an inspiring event as we introduce our candidate and outline our vision for a Grassroots Participatory Democracy driven by active community involvement and shared Vision. Your presence is vital to our collective success!

Apsara Sabaratnam, Secretary of the Multicultural Greens will be our MC, Apsara is an expert in building grassroots democracy. Apsara practices a consensual form of politics that works towards agreement. In keeping with consensual decision making, formalities will be kept to a minimum. We want to hear from you. The Greens have ideas, we have many ideas and policies that we would like to share, but consensual politics involves listening as well, and we want to hear from you. We are aware that some of the best solutions come from people in the community. We believe the best policies are developed when you come up with an idea and provide the opportunity for people to expand on that idea and bring in a perspective you don't have.

FAMILY EVENT

This is a whole family event and there will be food and drink provided and some games for kids to play.

THE CATCH

Grassroots democracy relies on the support and involvement of people like you. We encourage you to sign up as a volunteer to help make this campaign a reality. While volunteer efforts are crucial, we also need funds to sustain our activities. We will be asking for generous contributions on the day, and donations to political parties up to $1,500 per financial year are generally tax deductible. What your donation can get.

$70 - 10 placards for people’s houses or polling booths.

$150 - 5,000 candidate flyers for letterboxing.

$200 - 1,000 multilingual trifold flyers.

To adequately cover Gellibrand at a minimum we need at least 500 placards, 100,000 candidate flyers, 10,000 multilingual flyers and some billboards if we have the cash. This is a minimum of $8,500. Please give generously and help get Ponraj elected.
