Let’s turn Cooper Green!
Tara is a teacher, unionist and renter who is proud to call Cooper home. She’s running to build the movement, win Cooper, and become the first trans Member of Parliament ever in Australia!
We’ve already been campaigning alongside our council campaign and people we’ve spoken to are really on board with our message of action on the cost of living and rental crisis, fully funding public education, and making the major corporations pay for it. Now, with six months to go until the election, we want to ramp our campaign into high gear!
Our campaign launch party will be hosted by the State MP for our 86 line neighbours Richmond, Gabrielle de Vietri, and will feature former candidate for Cooper and legendary Black activist Celeste Liddle and Ohad Kozminsky from Teachers and School Staff for Palestine.
Our wonderful hosts at Cafe Gummo will be selling drinks along with their signature jaffles and pierogies.
