What is war good for — and who is really paying the price?
While Australian families are stretched by the cost of living, our government is backing the US into another open-ended war. And somehow, all the major parties seem to be on board.
If that doesn't sit right with you, come and talk about it.
Join Senator David Shoebridge and the Northern Territory Greens for a community event at Nightcliff Uniting Church on Tuesday 28 April, arrive from 6:00pm for the discussion at 6:30pm.
We'll be discussing how the Greens are pushing for peace and justice, not war and aggression — and what we can actually do about the rising cost of living here at home.
This isn't a lecture. It's a chance to ask hard questions, hear honest answers, and connect with others in your community who think something needs to change.
Entry is free, but we will take donations to cover the cost of refreshments if you are able to donate. Please register so we have enough seats ready.
P.S. Let’s grow our community by making this event big! Can you bring along a friend?
This event is fully wheelchair accessible.
