Toolangi forest walk with Steve Meacher

Toolangi forest tour Saturday 25 November, 2023 Yes, Vicforests has been stopped, largely through the courts, but a lot more work needs to be done to protect our precious forests. Steve Meacher has led the legal action, and as before will inspire and inform you while leading a forest tour that’s a fundraiser for Healesville & Upper Yarra Greens. We’ll drive to key locations, where you’ll see the forest at its best  and after VicForests has done its worst. You can enjoy delicious home-baked morning tea, have lunch in a forest clearing, and get to understand why we need a lot more work, and what future steps need to be. Date: 25 November, 2023. Time: Morning tea available from 9:30, before 10 am start of talk. Tour ends approximately 4:30 pm. Starting location:Toolangi and Castella Community Hall, next to C. J. Dennis Memorial Hall.
