Join us for our Climate Weekend of Action to get 2000 paper signatures on a petition to STOP Labor's new coal project!

Labor wants to turn brown coal into hydrogen for export to Japan, which would extend the life of Victoria’s coal mines and create as much emissions as putting another 735,000 cars on the road!
Not surprisingly, this process creates a lot of emissions and still involves burning coal which produces harmful gas into the atmosphere. There is also the associated transportation emissions involved with sending the hydrogen to Japan.

Coal gasification is used to make hydrogen gas. While hydrogen is a clean fuel, when made with water, this coal process is wasteful and causes emissions.

We need 10,000 signatures online or 2,000 paper signatures to get this debated in the Legislative Council. This is where we need your help! Sign-up to door knock to help get signatures on the petition and inform our neighbours what's really going on with Labor's new coal project.
