Join us as we bring the stories of how people are being affected by the cost of living crisis to the steps of Parliament House, and show the Victorian Labor Government that the community wants action.

The cost of living crisis is having a huge toll on everyday Victorians - people are skipping meals, raiding their savings to pay for the essentials and forgoing healthcare because they can’t afford it.

At the same time, profiteering corporations like Coles and Woolworths are jacking up their prices, and making billions in profit - making it so that people can’t afford groceries.

The state government has the power to stop the supermarket rip off, to make food affordable for everyone - but right now they’re refusing to use it.

We need to show them just how much this crisis is affecting people, and that the community won’t stand for their inaction any longer.

So we’re going to make people’s experiences visible with a temporary story installation on Parliament steps. And to show our community’s strength we’re going to pack the steps with as many people as possible.

Join us to show your support to all the people who have shared their stories with us so they know that they’re not alone, and to show the government that community won’t be ignored.
