Join this cross-branch workshop exploring how to sow community connections and grow thriving campaigns!

Guided by principles from his inspiring book ‘Living Democracy’, the Green Institute’s Tim Hollo will lead us in a collaborative conversation about growing our branches into lively hubs of mutual aid and local campaigning. Sowing the seeds for the next chapter in Green history, this full-day workshop will help us form a collective vision for how branches can support electoral gains and build community resilience.  This event is open to all members and is jointly hosted by the Darebin-Whittlesea, Merri-bek & Hume, and Yarra Branches.  Tim Hollo is a highly respected environmentalist and musician, having worked for organisations including the Greens, Greenpeace, 350.org and others, as well as performing in venues from Woodford Folk Festival to New York’s Carnegie Hall. Tim is the founder and Executive Director of Green Music Australia, served as Communications Director for Christine Milne, has sat on the board of Greenpeace Australia Pacific, and has been published in the Guardian, ABC, Griffith Review, Crikey and elsewhere. Refreshments: Tea/coffee will be supplied as well as a light morning and afternoon tea (All vegan with gluten and nut free options) BYO Lunch.

Unwaged: Please contact the organisers as there will be an allocation of free places.
