Join us for recruitment calls, data entry, and other campaign tasks to build Team Melb

The Local Government teams in city of Melbourne and Yarra are getting together to build campaign power and ensure we get real progress on the issues we care about in all levels of government. If we elect more Greens in parliament and council we’ll continue the incredible work currently happening at a local level.

Campaign nights are an opportunity to develop our organising skills and collectively work on tasks such as recruiting volunteers, entering data and preparing for upcoming events. Support will be provided for new volunteers and upskilling.

Yarra is one of the greenest councils in the state - the first Greens majority government anywhere in Australia. If we elect more Greens councillors, we could implement transformational policies on cost of living, housing and climate change.

In City of Melbourne our councillors have been pushing back against the vested interests of big business, landlords and developers. We need them now more than ever!

Unlike the major parties, The Greens don’t take donations from fossil fuel companies and big corporations trying to buy influence, so we can be trusted to fight for our community.

Everyone is welcome. Bring a laptop and some headphones if you have some. We'll be making elaborate toasties to fuel us - so also bring a fun ingredient to add to the mix if you can. If we want change, the first step is electing people who actually represent us and our values.

Online attendance is an option if needed.
