Sophie McNeill, Huong Truong and Sarah Baarini in conversation with Janet Rice

Join us for a conversation about the state of the world. From Palestine to Sudan, Trump to Tibet, colonialism, capitalism and climate, and about how community power together with Green political power equals hope rather than despair.

Sophie McNeill is a former ABC investigative reporter and Middle East correspondent, human rights and climate campaigner, and newly elected West Australian Greens MP.

Huong Truong is the Greens Candidate for Fraser, and a community activist and organiser.

Sarah Baarini is an activist and organiser, including of the Free Palestine Sunday rallies in Naarm, and former executive member of the Islamic Council of Victoria.

Janet Rice is a former Greens Senator and Foreign Affairs Spokesperson, co-Chair of the Australia Tibet Council and climate, environment, and human rights campaigner.

Back Alley Sally's is located approximately 10min walk from Footscray train station. Bus stops for routes 216 and 402 are a few minutes walk away.

We acknowledge that our event takes place on stolen lands. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
