This is the final day of the VCAT hearing on the proposed mass-scale waste facility in Hampton Park — planned just metres from people’s homes.

💪 The EPA has already rejected the development licence. Now we need to show strong community support for that decision.

Reasons to Oppose the Waste Transfer Station:

  • ❌ No promised park for the community

  • 💨 Increased air pollution

  • 🔊 Noise pollution

  • 🚚 More truck traffic through local streets

  • 🔥 Risk of battery and e-waste fires

  • 🤢 Unpleasant odour

  • 🚫 Greenwashing of waste-to-energy incineration

Dr. Sarah Mansfield MP's sponsored petition on a moratorium of waste to energy incineration will also be available for signing at the rally.
